Assistant/Receptionist Position – Immediate Opening – Part-time/Full-time
Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids is an upscale children’s salon. If you are a highly motivated individual with high energy, Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids (www.sharkeycutsforkids.com) is looking for YOU to be a part of our family! Sharkey’s Cuts was voted #1 kids salon franchise. Our receptionists should have a natural smile and upbeat attitude with a commitment to provide an unforgettably fun and exciting haircut experience for each of our client children and parents. Some of the responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Greet all guests and offer friendly, prompt and exceptional service
Manage the salon software, customer appointments and salon traffic flow
Sell hair care products
Disinfect all the store equipment and keep the store clean and tidy
Assist stylists to ensure salon flow – may wash client’s hair and/or paint client’s nails
Assist with glamour/birthday parties
Keep retail shelves stocked
Report to Salon Manager and/or Salon Owner
Requirements:
Sales experience and able to educate clients on retail products
Wear a smile
Legal to work in US
Must be able to work after school, Saturday, closed on Sunday
Cosmetology license optional
