Overview
Mercer Salon is looking for a full-time stylist assistant your duties will include :
Salon duties and daily responsibilities include:
~ Advising clients on their hair care needs
~ Analyzing clients hair, facial features and needs and determining and or recommending beauty products
~ Maintaining appointments through scheduling
~ Demonstrating and selling styling products
~ Applying hair color, hair dye, and tints
~ Learning and perfecting new styles and techniques
~ Maintaining and updating client records
~ Maintaining a clean work station and sanitizing tools and equipment
~ Administering therapeutic scalp and hair treatments
Qualities we look for in candidates include having a positive attitude, being enthusiastic and having the ability to work well with others.
Experience we are looking for includes:
~ Cosmetology License
~ Proficiency with the latest salon techniques
~ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
~Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
