Apprentice/Hair Stylist Assistant

Overview

We are a departmentalized hair salon looking for an assistant to work with us full-time (includes weekends). Reliability, professionalism, and teamwork are paramount for this job position. Applicants must be open to learning our salon culture and current collections. Our hair salon is cutting-edge, fun and highly artistic. We are currently seeking an applicant looking to specialize in cut and style. If you are self-motivated, energetic, positive, goal-oriented, a team player, have a current cosmetology license and want to further your education, then we want to hear from you.

Pay: Hourly + tips

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·        Assisting color technicians and stylists

·        Washing towels and smocks

·        Cleaning and detailing the salon

·        Shampooing and toning clients

·        Blowouts

·        Providing clients with conditioning treatments

·        Salon inventory and product stocking

·        Attending weekly training, as part of our education program

·        Providing a model (weekly) for the duration of the program

·        Attending all salon meetings

·        Assisting in salon sponsored events
