FINESSE is a small business in Mesquite, TX. Finesse Salon is a brand that's obsessed with all things beauty, hair and self-care related. We love our clients and want to help our future stylist grow their business by booking even more clients!

Qualifications:

- Valid cosmetology license required.

- Proven experience as a hairstylist/barber or similar role.

- Proficient in various hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and styling.

- Knowledge of color theory and the ability to create customized hair colors for clients.

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.

- Knowledge of eyelash extensions is a plus.

Responsibilities:

- Provide professional hair styling services to clients, including cutting, coloring, and styling hair.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling and color theory.

- Consult with clients to determine their desired hairstyle and provide recommendations based on their hair type and face shape.

- Sanitize all tools and equipment before and after each use to maintain a clean and safe salon environment.

- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns or questions they may have.

- Upsell salon services to clients to enhance their overall experience.

- Manage client information

Additional Information:

Position & Pay: This is an Independent Contract position - Meaning you're officially a business owner! (Congrats!)

Suite/Booth Rental: Rent is due every week. If you want to pay in advance, great! By the way, we got the cheapest rent in DFW!

Salon Hours: Salon hours are from 8 am-5 pm, Tuesday- Saturday, but we are looking for someone willing to work Sundays and Mondays and accept walk-ins. (Weekends and walk-ins are where big money is made.) It's still your business, and you can flex your hours!

Supplies: As an independent contractor and business owner, you're responsible for all your beauty tools and supplies. The salon covers everything else to help support you in your business venture.

Appointments/Booking: As an independent contractor, you're responsible for booking your appointments. Our website has click-to-call links for each stylist, so if a client is interested, they'll connect with you directly via our website or your social media profiles. (This makes for a better client experience and keeps your clients loyal!)

Services/Pricing: Each stylist is responsible for their service pricing. This gives you the flexibility to charge how you like; at the end of the day, you know your worth and your value! So, the sky is the limit! We recommended researching salon services and building an itemized list of services and pricing to set yourself up for success.

Salon Environment: We offer a supportive work environment and the chance to work with a diverse clientele. We want stylists with booming personalities, and we want beauty-obsessed go-getters.
